September 11, 2024 Part 2

I have been scheduled for x-rays tomorrow on my shoulder, so we shall see what that reveals. I am sure it is a soft tissue issue and of course, nothing will be done.

As if this was not enough, I was denied food now twice at the chow hall for my sealed religious diet. I am a practicing Messianic Jew and they have twice taken away my raw vegetables, a key element of the sealed diet. All my food to prepare in my cell was taken upon exiting our food place. Other Jewish inmates with sealed religious diets to prepare at "home" were also targeted.

I will not eat today and it was not easy to venture all the way there given my health state to get my vegetables to make for dinner. How were we supposed to eat raw dirty beets and mushrooms? There is Hepatitis A on foods that occurs frequently in prison and jail, so you must wash everything before preparing it. Our bodies cannot even digest and process raw beets even if you could bite into it.

This unconstitutional treatment is the way of life in Fluvanna and it is no wonder the rate of recidivism is so high.
