The federal court ordered more briefing on the issue of an injunction to get to my doctors. I had pictures taken and sent to my lawyer over the kiosk video visit camera for the court of my rash that covers me and bleeds all over my body. I am sick with fever, pain, and obvious swelling all over. They have me on Lasix to reduce some of the fluid buildup, but that is just alleviating symptoms. I was assured on October 15th and last Friday, October 25th by Dr. Cabbage that my medications would all be restarted right away. As of the pill line at 5pm tonight they are not available, and haven't been for weeks now.
It is hit or miss to get your meds in prison. I am far from alone in this. Mental health meds are missed for many and the results are tragic for those too. People lose their minds and some lose their lives. Mental health and medical issues are not even taken seriously by anyone. It is no wonder no one actually rehabs in prison and it is so ineffective overall. My rollator has jammed wheels so I am pretty much out of luck. Other inmates are letting me use their canes and wheelchairs as needed. It is a sad place to be. I pray to be home soon with my doctors and healing. Then the mission to help others begins...we are all Bruised Behind Bars and these Walls of Silence…
